Then to put on top of that an Xpac right around the corner and it's just a perfect storm of no applications, raid burn-out of several month old content and people just not giving a crap. But we are doing what we can to weather that storm, a slow but competent trickle of new faces is keeping us going slowly, but going none-the-less. What more can you ask for this time of year, really? People may go, but the guild will continue. With fresh faces we made progress tonight. The recent joins may not have the best gear, but they're excited about raiding and excited about learning, and that's exactly what we need. Raiding should be fun, that is our philosophy, and raiding can be fun and progressive at the same time. Also as we move on, we have made a new officer promotion. Congrats Kinyo on the promo and thanks for already finding quality people to fit our guild atmosphere. Hopefully they enjoy their stay and get to know everyone into the future. As was mentioned, moving on doesn't just include new faces, but progression as well. Congrats everyone on a fun night and a fairly quick new kill on Blood Queen Lana'thiel. Tweaking how many healers going into the portal and how many to keep outside and then learning to eat orb splash was a good time. But all good things must come to an end, especially with a treasure chest full of purples. Sorry to disappoint in the screenshot, there really isn't much to see. But it is the best you can do once she vaporizes everything and vanishes. With our new abundance of tanks and healers, that is no longer a reason stopping us. DPS, on the other hand... if you're a DPS and not currently in the guild reading this, put in an app! But back to the context of this news, we finally killed the other twin ugly creation of Putricide with a fairly smooth kill. A couple of sub 5mil attempts leading us into a kill with only a few deaths. It felt good to get some vengeance on him. Up next is Valithria and Putricide, hopefully a lot faster than this kill was. Also, huge congrats to Devilkazuya on his brand new Shadows Edge finally. That Saronite has been rotting in his bags for far too long waiting on that second blood. It only took 4 attempts and the Blood Princes went down. Actually an extremely fun fight, even though it was a bit easy. The mechanics are fairly easy to control and the enrage timer is extremely long for their amount of HP... have I mentioned how much I am tiring of enrage timers?
