KaraSquared moving forward
Posted by Kyrish on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 (06:55:26) (110 reads)
Well, after a week of disappointments we decided tonight we were raiding no matter what. So we did and in a very unconventional form. We had no warrior to speak of, so Siinstinct got to get a taste at MTing and a PUG pally named Teckbot was our OT. I must say, they both did fantastic jobs and allowed us to get OUR job done, which was to kill Moroes. And so we did.
Loot: [item]Crimson Girdle of the Indomitable[/item] [item]Signet of Unshakable Faith[/item]

After that we made our way to get an attempt on Maiden and to find Keanna's Diary. On the way some trash dropped us [item]Grips of the Deftness[/item] which we had to DE cause we had no rogue. With Skar having to leave, we attempted the improved Maiden with 9 people and in a BS attempt got her down to 65%. When we have quality time, she goes down, and we work on catching up to group 1.

Curator and Chess Event Defeated
Posted by Naroga on Monday, February 19, 2007 (05:59:47) (237 reads)
Well we came back today with consumables up to our teeth and killed the Curator on the second pull. We then spent a fun hour and so killing trash all the way to the chess event. We then one shot the chess event, although easy, it was quite fun. We're making steady progress through the dungeon and I expect even more great things when we begin again Tuesday.
Curator Loot: [item]Staff of Infinite Mysteries[/item] [item]Gloves of the Fallen Hero[/item]
Chess Event: [item]Forestlord Striders[/item] [item]Fiend Slayer Boots[/item]

Attumen Down to KaraSquared
Posted by Kyrish on Monday, February 12, 2007 (07:22:39) (181 reads)
Well, we started a day later and a few hours after our other group, but we downed Attumen and Midnight on our second try, flying through his trash in about 15 minutes and pwning his face in.
Loot was:
[item]Gloves of Saintly Blessings[/item]
[item]Whirlwind Bracers[/item]
We then had DC issues we could not recover from and called it an early night. We will get much more time in tomorrow and will actually have a priest! (I hope)

Attument, Moroes, Maiden of Virtue Dead!
Posted by Naroga on Sunday, February 11, 2007 (09:05:02) (199 reads)
Well tonight was our first night in Karazhan and we plowed on through it in true DR style. After getting our sea legs on the first boss (30 minute respawn timers with adds that aggro when you touch the boss = weeeee) it was steady sailing (with repair bills to keep us company) from then on After de-mounting the horse man we went onto Moroes who was grateful to welcome us to his table. Unfortunately, we have horrible table manners and killed two of his guests...oops? After a 5% wipe we came back and wrecked poor Moroes, but hey, at least we left two of his guests alive for him
After Moroes it was off to the origin of Ghostsshadow's haunted pants, the Concubine Ward. With more scantily clad women spouting sexual innuendo then you can shake a stick at, the concubine ward wasn't too bad. We pushed through it (ha ha, pushed) and killed The Maiden of Virtue who commanded us to have good manners. I guess word spreads fast in the dungeon =/
Anyway, we got some shots in on the Romeo and Juliet encounter in the Opera House, which is supposedly the hardest encounter of the Opera House, and it's a safe bet they'll be dying tomorrow. Good job to all who attended and it won't be long before we have a solid second team running the dungeon.

Loot :
Attumen the Horsemen : [item]Gauntlets of Renewed Hope[/item] [item]Vambraces of Courage[/item]
Moroes : [item]Moroes' Lucky Pocket Watch[/item] [item]Crimson Girdle of the Indomitable[/item]
Maiden of Virtue : [item]Bands of Nefarious Deeds[/item] [item]Gloves of Centering[/item]
